Penerapan Matriks sebagai Bagian dari Sistem Pendukung Keputusan dalam Pemilihan Siswa Terbaik di MA Miftahunnajah Sleman

This study implements matrices as a tool for selecting the best grade XII students at MA Miftahunnajah Sleman using Simple Additive Weighting (SAW) and Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP). The criteria were identified through academic observation, while criterion weights were obtained from questionnaires completed by three respondents. The data were arranged in a decision matrix, normalized, and calculated through SAW weighting and preference matrices. AHP analysis involved pairwise comparison matrices, normalization, eigenvector calculation, and consistency testing. Although the AHP comparison matrix was not fully consistent, the calculation was continued because the study was exploratory. The final decision was obtained by comparing SAW and AHP results using a mode approach. The results identified Anindia Bintang Ramadani as the best male student and Layla Amrina Rosyada as the best female student. This study shows that matrix-based decision support can improve objectivity in multi-criteria student selection.
