Abstract

Digital transformation requires madrasahs to provide effective, accountable, and adaptive services, including systematic recognition of students' academic and non-academic competencies. This study describes the development, implementation, and impact of SKPI Digital Madania at MA Madania Bantul as a technology-based competency recognition service. Using a descriptive qualitative best-practice approach, data were collected through observation, documentation, interviews, and implementation analysis involving students, teachers, homeroom teachers, operators, and madrasah stakeholders. The findings show that SKPI Digital Madania integrates competencies, achievements, certifications, organizations, skills, and self-development activities into one accessible platform. QR Code verification improves document authenticity, transparency, efficiency, and user trust. The system also strengthens achievement documentation, competency tracking, graduate portfolios, digital literacy, and madrasah governance, making it a replicable model for technology-based educational services.
